Fellowships may be available to students In the College of Arts and Science for students participating in otherwise unpaid mentored research, practica placements, or internships related to their field of study. Learn more here.
Once accepted into the internship program, the internship instructor will guide you through any necessary paperwork.
After your advisor issues a permit, you will enroll In PSYC 4507.
During the semester, you will work 120 hours total at your approved placement site. This equates to about 10 hours a week. You will work with your placement supervisor to create a schedule that works for you and them.
If you are enrolled in a traditional internship section, you will meet on campus once each week with other interns and your faculty internship supervisor. If you are enrolled in an online section, you will complete asynchronous work related to professional development in lieu of weekly class meetings.
